You really know little about modern China, maybe most British people know little about China, I have learnt that from reviews said people in UK know less about China than people in US. I think that is caused by the culture difference. Now the life in China is also colorful. Regarding the internet speed, entirely different with what you thought, now I am in a network company as probation, I know no matter what the speed is, there must be some trouble if visiting some foreign webs, I also gave some foreign friends our websites and they also said some of them were not able to visit.
I hope to make friends all over the world, if you want to know much about my country, I am glad to tell you more and I think we could understand other's country better via communication!

In response to:I AM BACK!

Hi,

Ha, i think it is called the Great Fire Wall of China!

I heard an article on the radio in the UK about it last week, proxy servers are the only way round, although they were saying you are still limited by the slow speed of the main internet connection out of China to the rest of the world.

How is China, I have to admit to being very ignorant about China, the image I have of China is mainly the food, which is actually Cantonese from Hong Kong imigrants to the UK, The tanks in Tienemen square (sorry for the spelling) cheap goods of all types being imported to the UK, bicycles, new building everywhere, the Great Wall, rice and a host of other sterotypes.

Sorry if the above sounds rude, I am not trying to offend.
